Our edgebands are works of art

The presentation of our edgebands by Mr. Jürgen Paas

Mr. Jürgen Paas became a well-known artist in recent years in the element area of minimal art.

He combines technology and order with chance and chaos: geometric shapes like the circle, rectangle and square are painted, glued and mounted on the wall.

His current works „Jukebox“ and „Target“ were presented at several exhibitions. The circle segment has in particular captured Mr. Paas, and his work with edgebands from SURTECO reflects this enthusiasm again. It seems that Mr. Paas wants to set his viewers in motion with his art and wants them to activate themselves. If you get involved in the artistic design, you realise that the art work with edgebands has a very light and quiet effect on the perception of the observers.

Mr. Paas deserves the positive response to his works which he has earned. We wish him further success and look forward to being able to exhibit one of his artworks at our location.
